Building advice for this size

  • Even diameters give you a 2x2 center, so place that square first and work outwards to keep the ring even.
  • At this size the widest row is 10 blocks and the shortest is 4. Count those two rows first and the rest fall into place.
  • A 10 wide hollow circle only has room for a 1 block wall. If you want a thicker wall, step up to 12 or 14.

Does a 10 block circle have a center block?
No. Ten is an even number, so the middle of the circle is a 2x2 block square rather than one block. If you need a true center — for a beacon or a pillar — use 9 or 11 instead.
Is a 10 block circle big enough for a tower?
It is tight but usable. The interior is about 8 blocks across, which leaves room for a spiral staircase with an open middle or a small room with one door and two windows.
